We are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role oversees a book of business valued between $10–20 million, driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role manages the full sales cycle— from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and coordinating equipment builds and deliveries. The position requires strong communication, organization, and technical knowledge of CAS equipment across industries such as construction, landscaping, and mining, along with proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Duties:


Sales and Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage a book of business valued between $10-20 million, ensuring consistent revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Exhibit expert-level oral communication skills, with a strong emphasis on calling prospects, leads, and customers.
  • Successfully manage customer relationships, prioritizing follow-up based on the level of interest and potential revenue.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the CAS sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally in all interactions with prospects, leads, and customers.
  • Achieve success in developing new markets while maintaining and growing repeat business.
  • Provide equipment training to the assigned book of business, ensuring customers understand the components, maintenance, and operation of all CAS equipment.

Technical Knowledge and Industry Expertise

  • Possess a broad understanding of the various applications of CAS equipment across different industries, including construction, landscaping, dirt, and mining.
  • Manage the equipment build process with customers, work with vendors on chassis specifications, and handle any change orders.
  • Review and approve purchase order commitments for build-specific purchases.
  • Collaborate with the production team on QA/QC procedures before equipment delivery to ensure high-quality products.

Operational Management

  • Demonstrate excellence in scheduling and forecasting to meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Manage all aspects of procuring and logistics for the transport of equipment to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Work well with the production team to ensure all builds meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for communication, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Experienced in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and maintain customer data.
  • Ability to generate and analyze reports from CRM systems to inform sales strategies and decisions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


  • Knowledge of OR-OSHA regulations and changes.
  • Knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Skilled in the use of standard office equipment, including telephones, calculators, copiers, fax, computers, and relevant computer software, such as but not limited to MS Excel, Word, Customer Management Software, etc.
  • Ability to engender trust from the owners, managers, team members, and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a sales/business development profession

Special Requirements, Certifications, Licenses:

  • Valid Oregon Driver’s License.
  • Valid US Passport

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • May be required to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Hand-eye coordination and hand, arm, and finger mobility for detailed work with objects.
  • Active movement throughout the day: sitting, walking, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, etc. (not a sedentary position).
  • Vision: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Hearing: able to satisfactorily communicate with customers, owners, and other staff members to ensure that verbal communication is clearly understood, particularly during emergencies.
  • Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operate equipment.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels.
  • Exposure to hectic, fast-paced, high-anxiety environments.
